Message from the President
ICS Convention Design, Inc., was established in 1978 as “International Congress Service, Inc.”, a company specialized in the provision of convention services for international conferences held in Japan. Over the past 30 years, our range of services have expanded to offer all-inclusive services, from planning to operation, for all MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition & Event) business. This includes general assemblies and ceremonies, exhibitions, corporate seminars, events, exams and trainings, regional promotions and sales promotions, which led us to receiving a high reputation among our valued customers.
In 2002, we launched the International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference (nano tech) as the first hosting event of our own, which has now grown to one of the world’s largest nanotechnology events with exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. In the year 2009, the number of hosting events has increased up to 14 events, such as InterAqua 2010 International Water Solution Exhibition, a unique exhibition for water solutions.
In terms of overseas MICE business, which is our area of specialty, we offer support to Japanese companies seeking to participate in exhibitions or hold seminars overseas, and at the coming World Expo Shanghai China 2010, we will be operating events at the Japanese pavilion and several other national pavilions.
Furthermore, we have established a considerable credibility by our solid operation taking advantage of the JTB Group network in the field of country wide national exams, such as the qualification of care workers, interpreters and legal experts, which there should be no excuse for failure.
In such an era of rapid development of information technology, global communication has never been so easy and convenient, and all the more reason it is important to provide an opportunity for person-to-person interaction.
We will aim to be the best partner for our customers, providing total design solutions for the MICE business by making the best of our knowledge and experience we have built up over the years, supported by all our valued customers and partner companies.
